Return Policy

Our return policy has a period of 14 days. After 14 days from the date of purchase, no refunds or exchanges are possible.

To be eligible for a return, the item must be unused and in the same condition as when received. Please make sure to return the item in the original packaging you received it in.

Some items cannot be returned. Please note that we cannot accept returns of newspapers and magazines. We do not accept returns of products that contain hazardous substances or flammable liquids or gases.

Other non-refundable items:
*Online video course products purchased through the website
*Downloadable software products

A receipt or proof of purchase is required to complete your return. Returning purchased items to the manufacturer is not possible possible.

Only a partial refund of the product price will be made under the following circumstances:
-Books with obvious signs of use
-Products that are not in their original condition and are damaged or missing parts for reasons not attributable to our negligence.
-The item was returned more than 14 days after delivery.

Refunds for Merchandise (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, you will receive an email notifying you of the receipt of your returned item. We will also notify you if your refund was approved or declined.
If approved, your refund will be processed and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment within a reasonable number of days.

Exchanges (if applicable)
We only exchange defective or damaged items. If you would like to exchange the item for the same item, please email support@kajiya-japanese-academy.jp and return the item to the address below.

Gift
For all items marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, the purchase price will be refunded in the form of a gift certificate for the value of the returned item. Once your return is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
If an item was not marked as a gift when purchased, or the recipient gave the item to you themselves after receiving it, the gift giver will be refunded if returned and notified of your return.

Shipping costs for returning products are the responsibility of the customer. Please note that shipping costs are not included in the refund. If you request a refund, the return shipping costs will be deducted from the refund amount.
